About Us

Jake and Ashleigh got the keys to the property in February 2022 and hit the ground running. They saw the potential that this 160 acre property had to offer. It took the young couple 7 months to tidy up this untouched property. Jake and Ashleigh love bush camping and said why not incorporate our favourite hobby into reality. They opened the campground to the public 16th of September 2022.



Our eco-friendly campgrounds offer open campsites that are perfect for camping with your tent, swag, caravan, camper trailer, or if you’re after a glamping experience, stay in our bell tents with queen beds and basic comforts.

Camping

All unpowered camping + NO DAY VISITS

We don’t want everyone camping on top of each other. We have up to 35-40 campsites spread around the campgrounds to ensure you have plenty of space and privacy.

We have some open sites for groups as well little hidden pockets for peace and quiet, it is first in best dressed, we don’t hold or allocate sites. We are a new campground so future improvements are on their way.

Our caravan sites offer open spaces that are pet friendly, and you can choose where to set up.

We have up to 20-25 unpowered sites spread around campground catering to 22ft caravan + car.

Glamping Tents

If you’re looking to stay as a group for a girls weekend away or couples retreat, we have two bell tents next to each other.

Our 5m glamping bell tents only have a queen size bed in it, if you would like to book a bell tent and you have children you are welcome to supply your own bedding for the kids.

We do not allow four adults to book one tent and supply their own bedding. This is strictly for families or couples. As we are a new business we are in early stages of development. In the future will be adding single beds for children. We do apologize if it is any inconvenience.

My recent stay at Eureka Station Camping Retreat was a Godsend. This Retreat was exactly that, a place to get away and retreat from the busy life we all often find ourselves in. The environment and landscape Jake and his lovely Wife have created has really set apart the camping experience from the conventional camping sites in this area. I stayed two nights, swagging it the first and then Bell Tent the last. Both options were just as good as the other. The location is easily accessible with the short drive off the M1 just up the road from the Apple Tree Creek. With the newly created beach/pool surrounded by bush was just the place to cool off and of course the choice of open fire cook up’s or BBQ’s is all provided. Given Jake has incorporated his talent as landscaper into developing Eureka Camping Retreat, has truly provided a stay you will remember. Camping for me at EurekaCamping has been put on the top of my camping sites, well done Guys…. I will be back.

Went for a over night stay was absolutely worth it, only in bundy so not far to travel great room between sites and toilets and good little bush walk for the kids and the pool was amazing, Jake and Ashley great hosts and super friendly will be back for sure

Thanks for our short stay at the campsite which we were sad to leave so quickly but the weather was poor and the forecast was much the same. You are a lovely young couple and what you have achieved in a short time on site can only be admired. Your dream concept is a good plan and you deserve to succeed. We will be back down your way in March/April 2023 and will definitely come back for a longer visit in dryer weather. Thanks again to Jake for the mud rescue but I still have to dig the mud out from the rim and axle on the camper now that we are back in Townsville.

To get to Eureka Station Camping Retreat - Stay on the Bruce Hwy all the way to Eureka Station Road and turn off. DO NOT go down Gentle Annie Road or NS Road there no through ROADS.
